Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using Runsetters ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Runsetters provisions, manages, and operates GitLab CI runners on dedicated Hetzner Cloud virtual machines on your behalf. You retain full control over your GitLab projects; we provide the runner infrastructure as a managed subscription service.

3. Subscription, Free Trial, and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
  • Each runner is a separate subscription tied to a specific plan (Starter, Standard, Pro, Heavy, Beast).
  • The Starter plan includes a 24-hour free trial on first subscription. A valid payment method is required at trial signup; no charge is made during the trial period. After 24 hours, the subscription auto-renews monthly at the standard Starter price unless cancelled before the trial ends. Other plans are billed in full from the first day with no trial.
  • Upgrading the plan of a runner that is on a free trial ends the trial immediately and bills the full new-plan amount on the same day. Upgrading outside of trial bills the prorated difference on your next renewal.
  • Downgrades to a smaller plan are processed manually — email hello@runsetters.com to request a downgrade.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel any subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately: your subscription is closed and the underlying Hetzner machine is destroyed without delay. No partial refund is issued for unused days within the current billing period. If your runner is still on the Starter free trial, no charge is made and the runner is destroyed without invoicing.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to run, host, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Cryptocurrency mining or proof-of-work workloads
  • Port scanning, network attacks, or denial-of-service activity
  • Spam, mass mailing, or unsolicited communications
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or other malicious software
  • Activity that violates the laws of Serbia, the European Union, or the laws of the user's jurisdiction
  • Activity that violates Hetzner's Acceptable Use Policy (see Section 6)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice and without refund.

6. Hetzner as Subprocessor and Enforcement

The Service is delivered on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH and its affiliate Hetzner Cloud GmbH ("Hetzner"). Hetzner acts as a subprocessor for compute, storage, and networking resources used to operate your runner.

  • Pass-through policy. By using the Service, you agree to comply with Hetzner's Acceptable Use Policy and Hetzner's terms applicable to cloud services. Hetzner's policies apply to every workload you run on a runner regardless of whether they are restated in these Terms.
  • Hetzner enforcement. Hetzner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue warnings, throttle, suspend, or permanently delete the underlying machine if it determines that your workload violates Hetzner's policies, applicable law, or otherwise threatens the stability or reputation of Hetzner's network. Such enforcement actions may be taken without prior notice to us or to you. We are not responsible for any consequences of Hetzner's enforcement actions, including but not limited to lost CI runtime, lost data, or interrupted service. No refund or service credit will be issued for runtime lost to a Hetzner enforcement action that resulted from a violation of Hetzner's policies, applicable law, or these Terms.
  • KYC for appeal. If you wish to dispute a Hetzner enforcement action affecting your runner, we may require you to complete a know-your-customer (KYC) questionnaire — including, at minimum, verification of your identity, the business purpose of the affected workload, and relevant logs or job descriptions — before we forward any appeal to Hetzner on your behalf. We have no obligation to forward an appeal until the KYC questionnaire is completed to our reasonable satisfaction. Hetzner's decision on the appeal is final.
  • Cooperation. You agree to cooperate in good faith with any reasonable request from us or from Hetzner relating to abuse investigations, including providing CI configuration, build logs, and contact information for the engineers responsible for the workload.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Keep your account credentials and GitLab runner registration tokens confidential.
  • Ensure your CI workloads comply with Section 5 (Acceptable Use) and Section 6 (Hetzner subprocessor).
  • Provide accurate billing information.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the Service on an "as is" basis. Uptime depends on Hetzner Cloud, GitLab.com, and other upstream providers we do not control. We do not currently offer a contractual SLA.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code, CI configurations, and any data processed through your runners. We claim no ownership over customer-supplied content. The Runsetters platform, brand, and software remain the property of Premtech.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Premtech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Belgrade, Serbia, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
